Field Specialist

EMC Research is offering paid, in-person/in office (NOT REMOTE) internships for students for Summer 2024, with the opportunity to continue to work in the coming academic year (at reduced hours as needed).  These positions are available in our Oakland, CA, Seattle, WA and Washington, D.C. office locations.

This is an opportunity to investigate a career in market research, consulting, and polling. We are open to all majors and fields of study, but prefer a candidate who has completed at least two years of college coursework and has an interest in the political process and/or data analytics.

A candidate must be available to work 18 to 29 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks.  This is a paid position and candidates do not have to be currently enrolled in school to apply. The intern is expected to be available to work on designated weekdays between the hours of 10am and 6pm (local time).  Some evening hours might be necessary periodically but would be arranged in advance.

EMC Research will pay the intern an hourly minimum wage based on location and placement in one of our three offices:  As of May 2024 that is $16.24 for the City of Oakland, $19.97 for the City of Seattle, and $17.00 for Washington, D.C.
